IEEE IAS ENIS SBC participated in the IEEE IAS Annual Meeting and ECCE Conference held in Phoenix, Arizona, from 20-24 October 2024. We had the chance to attend important workshops, networking events, and professional sessions, representing our chapter at this global gathering.

During the IAS Annual Meeting, we took part in several events organized by the Chapters and Membership Development (CMD) team. On the first day, we attended the CMD Workshop and CMD Lunch, where we learned strategies to grow and strengthen our chapter. On the second day, we joined the Zucker Lunch and the CMD Dinner to continue building connections. On the third day, we participated in an IAS Mentoring Session, where we received career advice from experts in fields like project management, product management, and research and development (R&D). This mentoring gave us valuable insights for our personal and professional growth.

At the ECCE Conference, we joined the Welcome Reception on the first day, where we met other attendees and exchanged ideas. On the third day, we attended an event at the Heard Museum and had the chance to learn more about American culture. We also spent time at the General Expo Hall on the third and fourth days, where we explored exhibits by top companies in the power and energy industry. On the last day, we joined the Awards Lunch to celebrate outstanding achievements in IEEE.

This experience allowed us to learn, connect with professionals from around the world, and bring more recognition to IEEE IAS ENIS SBC.
