"Law College Dehradun Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Uttarakhand State Establishment"
Law college Dehradun celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Uttarakhand State on 8th November, 2024. Senior Uttarakhand State Movement activist Shri Ravindra Jugran was the chief guest while the President of the University Shri Jitendra Joshi, VP Ms. Ankita Joshi and VC Prof. Dharm Buddhi and PVC Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna special guests in the event.
The program was inaugurated by paying tribute to the immortal martyrs of the Uttarakhand movement with the drill of NCC cadets.In the event students perfomed a play based on the Uttarakhand State Movement. Student's also performed the touching presentation of the Khatima and Mussoorie incident. The audience was deeply moved by the famous slogans of the movement.
In the event Shri Ravindra Jugran showed the essence of the Uttarakhand State Movement.He addressed that Uttarakhand State Movement is not only a heritage of India but of the world.Meanwhile, Shri Jitendra Joshi emphasised on the fact that the creation of Uttarakhand state is not only the result of constitutional provisions and legislative process but it is the success of the struggle, sacrifice and martyrdom of those countless Uttarakhandis who set new standards of mass movements and created a unique precedent.

As a chief guest of this event, Shri Ravindra Jugran addressed on the topic "Outline of the Uttarakhand State Movement". He delivered the speech about the historical journey of the movement by telling the audience about the struggles, sacrifices, and perseverance of the uttarakhand's people by which they fight for the seperate state. He signified that Uttarakhand State Movement is not only a heritage of India but of the world.
He spoke about the martyrs and their dedication who set the protests. Through his speech he reminded everyone that Uttarakhand is not just a political achievement for us instead it is a win of people's spirit their dedication and their determination towards their state
