IEEE Xtreme 18.0 – 24-Hour Hackathon
The IEEE Xtreme 18.0 – 24-Hour Hackathon was hosted by the IEEE Student Branch of Sri Sairam Engineering College, achieving a remarkable milestone with over 1300+ teams participating, making it the highest global participation from a single institution.
The event commenced with an online motivational address by Mr. Sampathkumar Veeraraghavan, Global President of IEEE HKN, who shared valuable insights on leveraging IEEE platforms for innovation and career growth.
The in-person session was graced by the presence of Mr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, who inspired participants by emphasizing the importance of perseverance and the role of IEEE in shaping young technologists. Mr. Snehan, a renowned artist, added an artistic touch to the event by encouraging creativity and innovation among participants.
Participants worked tirelessly in Alpha, Beta, and Gamma halls, showcasing their problem-solving skills and teamwork to solve complex technical challenges within the 24-hour timeframe.
