Joint meeting of IEEE Central Texas Section C and SMC-AES Chapters

This meeting will consist of a combination of viewing a YouTube video and panel discussion.

Tony Seba’s video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxryv2XrnqM will be viewed.  It is a dramatic video projecting from the continuing improvements and performance of batteries, solar energy and autonomous vehicles that nothing less than the replacement of the oil and coal based energy system and major changes to the transportation system will happen over the next decade or two.  The video will be paused periodically for comments from the panel and questions from the audience.

Walt Downing of SwRI and Joe Redfield, Consultant, will provide panel discussion.  CPS Energy will present its perspective in a separate presentation in May.
