The Antenna & Microwave Tech Day by IEEE MTT-S & IEEE APS
On July 24, 2024, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society [ MTT-S ] and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society [ APS ] hosted the Antenna & Microwave Tech Day at SupCom. Organized by the IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch in collaboration with the SupCom and FST Student Branches, the event featured distinguished international speakers discussing key topics such as wireless communication, sensors, semiconductors, RF circuits, satellite systems, and antenna design.
The day included a panel discussion and technical sessions where experts delved into advancements in wireless network technologies, satellite communication, RF circuits, antenna design, high-frequency semiconductors, space communications, and antenna optimization.
Students and researchers presented innovative projects during a poster competition, with prizes of 500 DT, 300 DT awarded to the top three participants that successfully showcased their technical activities. Additionally, IEEE Student Branches presented posters highlighting their technical initiatives, with the top three winners earning 200 DT each.
By seamlessly blending technical excellence with cultural pride, the event left a lasting impression on our attendees. Tunisian identity was prominently showcased through traditional decorations, fostering collaboration and advancing the fields of antennas and microwave technology.
