MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT 

Mission 1: To develop trained and skilled professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science who will be able to comply with the demands of the corporate world.

Mission 2: To offer rigorous learning pathways that foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, enabling our students to become leading experts and innovators in the domain. 

 

To deliver quality and value based education and contribute towards the innovation of high-performance computing so as to provide a thrust to technological as well as social development.

 

 

PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES 

On completion of the degree the graduates will be able to:

PSO-1: Create innovative solutions utilizing artificial intelligence and data science to address pressing societal issues.

PSO-2 : Develop critical thinking ability which helps to perform tasks in the areas of Health Care, Education, Agriculture, Intelligent Transport, Environment, Smart Systems and various multi-disciplinary areas.

PSO-3: Demonstrate engineering practice learned through industry internship to resolve social issues and challenges by professional attitude, effective communication skills and team work.

 

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE 

PEO-1: Develop students who will be able to work in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with proficiency by understanding, analyzing and designing solutions of domain-relevant problems. 

PEO-2: Develop graduates who exhibit a blend of technical knowledge and professionalism by building an ethical approach, teamwork ability, hard work and inclination to contribute towards society upliftment. 

PEO-3: Develop graduates who effectively utilize the power of applied research and lifelong learning to offer tangible solutions to real-world challenges, thereby fostering innovation in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and other interconnected disciplines throughout an individual’s lifespan.
