The NRTF Hackathon, held on April 19 and 20, 2025 at INSAT, was an intensive 24-hour event that brought together young innovators, students, and enthusiasts to develop creative solutions around the theme of managing waste. Focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence, electronics, and renewable energy, the hackathon aimed to inspire sustainable thinking and practical problem-solving. On the first day, participants also took part in a workshop titled From Idea to Business, which guided them on how to transform their technical concepts into viable entrepreneurial projects, helping them think beyond prototypes and toward real-world application. Participants first went through a pre-selection phase before being invited to the final competition, where they worked tirelessly in teams to bring their ideas to life. Throughout the event, experienced mentors were present to offer guidance, encouragement, and feedback, helping teams refine their concepts and stay on track. The hackathon concluded with a pitching session where teams presented their projects to a panel of judges, and the top three were awarded prizes in recognition of their innovation, impact, and potential. Overall, the event served as a vibrant platform for collaboration, learning, and environmental awareness, leaving participants motivated to continue exploring how technology can contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
