Dr Bablu Mordina

Nanomaterials in defence application: Energy storage devices, Vibration damping and health application.

Biography:

Dr. Bablu Mordina received his B.Sc. (Chemistry Honours) degree in the year 2002 from University of Calcutta. He obtained his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree in Polymer Science & Technology in the year 2005 and 2009 from the University of Calcutta. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in the year 2017. He has 3 years of industrial experience at Kalpana Industries Ltd., Daman on low tension and high tension flexible cable compounds based on polyvinyl chloride, sioplas, fire retardant sioplas, peroxide cross-linkable polyethylene, etc. He joined DRDO in the year 2009 as Scientist B and presently working as Scientist E (Deputy Director) in the Nano Sensors and Energy Division of DMSRDE.

Neuromorphic computing and hardware security

Biography:

Shubham Sir has completed his B.Tech from IIT BHU where he secured the first position in B.Tech at IIT (BHU) and was awarded four gold medals and several cash prizes. After that he completed his PhD from IIT Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. His research area focus of my NeuroComputing and Hardware Security (NeuroCHaSe) research group is on the development of (a) novel hardware platforms to perform energy-efficient computation and (b) novel hardware security primitives to protect the cyber-physical systems against security vulnerabilities and adversary attacks.
