This seminar topic is: Stability Assessment in Renewable Integrated Power Systems – Alternative Approaches. The seminar will be presented by Guest Professor Nilanjan Senroy from IIT Delhi.

Prof. Nilanjan Senroy, IIT Delhi has over 20 years of research experience in power system stability and control. He has published over 70 peer reviewed articles on this subject, and has supervised 19 PhD students. He is a former Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, and is currently an Editor of IETE Technical Review. He has been PowerGrid Chair Professor (industry funded chair position) at EE Dept, IIT Delhi, since 2019 and also heads the School of Interdisciplinary Science at IIT Delhi. Prof. Senroy has a MS and PhD from Arizona State University, USA and a BTech (EE) from NIT Jamshedpur, India.
