TECH TALK: CONTROL AND GUIDANCE SYSYEMS IN SPACE
IEEE – SJCE will be hosting a tech talk given by a proud member of the organisation that has placed India on the global map of space technology and exploration, Dr. Ravikumar Lagisetty, the Group Director for Mission Simulation Group (MSG) URSC.
The speaker will take us on a journey through the fascinating technologies and innovations that allow satellites to stay in orbit. He will provide insight into one of the most important aspects of space exploration: control and guidance systems in space. These systems are the backbone of every mission, ensuring spacecraft navigate the vastness of space with precision and reliability.
The talk will be moderated by Dr. Sudarshan Patil Kulkarni, Ex-Chair, IEEE Mysore Subsection, IEEE - SJCE RAS Staff Advisor, and Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication, JSSSTU (SJCE), Mysuru.
The students will be given an opportunity to learn and carry forward the spirit of curiosity and ambition that the speaker embodies. By the end of the session, his words will inspire and enlighten us, opening our minds to the wonders of science and the limitless potential of human ingenuity.
