This event is being organized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Chapter, MP Section. The IEEE CIS Winter School on Computational Intelligence and Generative AI is designed to create a platform for knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and fostering innovation in the fields of computational intelligence and generative artificial intelligence. The event will bring together students, researchers, professionals, and academics to delve into these transformative technologies through a series of lectures, hands-on sessions, and networking opportunities.

Prof. Ka-Chun Wong of City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong and China
Biography:
Ka-Chun was born and raised in Hong Kong where he was lucky enough to be immersed in a multi-cultural environment. He received his B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from United College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. He has also obtained his M.Phil. degree in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the same university in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, he has spent 3.5 years to finish his PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. With exposures to different aspects (academic, industrial, spiritual ,and social), he hopes to strike a balance and contribute to the society.

Agenda
Objectives of the Workshop
- Awareness and exploration: Deliver keynote lectures by renowned experts and practitioners to provide insights into the latest advancements in computational intelligence and generative AI.
- Networking opportunities/Hands-On session: Organize interactive sessions/panel discussions/Q&A forums with researchers. Additionally, the participants will be offered a practical session on the latest technology, subject to the speaker's availability.
- Presentation opportunity for participants: Provide a platform for participants to present their research and innovative projects through oral presentations and technical demonstrations.
