Vidyuth Utsav – A Five Day Technical Fest
A technical fest is an event that provides a platform for the student community to develop and showcase their technical prowess. It is known for hosting a variety of events that include competitions, industrial visits guest lectures as well as workshops. The events conducted are as follows
i) Poster presentation – Electrica on 19th August 2024. Themes given for poster presentation are as follows1.Recent Trends in Power Systems
2.Embedded & IOT
3. Renewable Energy Sources.
A total of 27 students participated in the event.
ii) By blending entertainment with education, treasure hunt games offer a dynamic approach to learning that appeals to students of all ages. In this context Treasure Hunt was conducted on 21st August 2024
iii) To enhance students' understanding of electrical infrastructure and substation operations and the broader energy sector an INDUSTRIAL VISIT to 400/220kV Substation Nannur on 22nd August 2024. Beyond technical knowledge, the tour seeks to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility towards safety and sustainability in engineering practices.
iv) Technical talk on Role of Automation in Electrical Engineering is conducted on 23rd August 2024 by Sri.D.Satish , Assistant Executive Engineer.
v) Technical Quiz on September 4th 2024 is done due to exams for students.
