Pius M. Kariuki is a Biomedical Engineering student at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya, and a dedicated leader within the IEEE community. He currently serves as the Chair of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) Chapter at Kenyatta University and as the Student Representative for IEEE IES Kenya.
Pius has demonstrated a deep commitment to professional growth and collaboration through various leadership roles, organizing impactful initiatives such as technical workshops, mentorship programs, and community outreach events. His efforts were recognized in 2023 when he received the prestigious IEEE IES Best Ambassador Award, highlighting his exceptional contributions and influence.
