The IEEE Student Branch of Mohan Babu University (MBU) along with university NSS unit have actively participated in enhancing the landscaping and green spaces at the SV Zoological Park as part of an ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship. This initiative focuses on tree planting, green space management, and creating a healthier habitat for the park’s wildlife and visitors alike. By planting trees and maintaining the greenery, the students are helping to expand the park’s biodiversity, offering increased shelter and food sources for animals while also improving air quality In this regard, the volunteers of 50 members are participated on 02.11.2024, from 9:30 to 1:30pm with a title of “Involvement in maintaining the park’s landscaping, including planting trees and managing green spaces”. Mr. Deepak Kumar Zoo official received us and guided us during the whole activity.

Through organized tree-planting drives and routine landscaping activities, the MBU volunteers have demonstrated the university’s dedication to sustainability. They work closely with park staff to ensure optimal growth conditions for the plants, such as soil enrichment and efficient water use practices, which also help in managing the region's climate conditions. Their efforts contribute to both the aesthetic and ecological value of the park, enhancing visitors' experiences while fostering a deeper respect for nature.
