EV Charging and Automation in Software Testing

School of Engineering, Indrashil University organized workshop on EV charging and Automation and 
Software Testing jointly with eInfochips and Co- sponsored by Industrial Electronics Society, Industy 
Application Society and Power Electronics Scoiety Joint Chapter of IEEE Gujarat Section. Dr. D.J.Shah, 
Provost, Indrashil University made opening remarks and interacted with guests. The program begin by 
prayer and welcome of the guest by Dean, School of Engineering Dr. Sidheswar Routray and event 
convener, Dr Vishvjit Thakar, SMIEEE. Dr. Vishvjit Thakar briefed activities about IEEE, IEEE Gujarat 
Section, IEEE Industrial Electronics, Industry Application Society and Power Electronics Society Joint
chapter to the delegates. He also took up membership initiative drive and 15 students have registered 
to be student member of IEEE. The School of Engineering will soon start the IEEE student branch once 
the examination of the students gets over in month of May 2024. Along with students members 3 
faculty members will also join as a professional members. Dr. Thakar explained benefits of student 
memberships, professional memberships and student chapters to the students of various Universities 
who attended and benefitted from the program.
Shri Bhavin Shah of eInfochips delivered expert session on EV Charging eco systems and demonstrated 
several use cases. Shri Bhavik Vora of eInfochips condcuted session on Automation in Software Testing 
cycles and opportunities in this field. Shri Anand Shah of eInfochips has invied the students to submit 
the white papers about their thoughts on the theme of the workshop. The students and faculty 
attended the workshop and interacted with experts. There were around 50 attendees for the program. 
Organizers faciliatetd the experts from eInfochips with mementos and sapling.
The program eneded with vote of thanks to management of Indrashil University, management of 
eInfochips an Arrow Company, Shri Sudhir Nayak, Shri Nilesh Ranpura, Shri Hemal Shah and Shri Anand 
Shah, Industrial Electronics, Industry Application Society and Power Electronics joint chapters of IEEE 
Gujarat Section with sepcial mention to and Dr. M.A. Mulla Chair, Industrial Electronics, Industrial 
Application and Power Electronic Society Joint Chapter of IEEE Gujarat Sectiont, Dr. Priyesh Chauhan 
Secretary, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Application and Power Electronic Society Joint Chapter of 
IEEE Gujarat Sectiont, Dr Kiran Amin Chair, IEEE Gujarat Section. The organizer would also like to thank 
AIC and ISE foundation at Indrashil Univbersity
