TECH GEN-2K24
The IEEE student branch & EMB society of VCET has organized Inter department paper presentation (technical) & Non technical event on 19/09/2024 at VCET. About 100+ students were registered and participated in this event.
This program was organized by higher authorities and coordinates of IEEE-EMBS of VCET. The welcome address was given by Dr.S.Mangai ,Professor and Head of BME/VCET and she gave introduction about the event and sincere thanks to our management for giving this opportunity.
TECHNICAL EVENT:
Totally 20 teams participated in this event .They were all participated without any stage fear and everyone was well prepared in their topics and performed very well.
NON – TECHNICAL EVENT
The non-technical events was held at afternoon 1:30 pm and it has two rounds - Find the translated lyrics and Just a minute talk .The rules for these non tech events were,
· Don't use mobile phone
· Don't discuss with other teams
FIND THE TRANSLATED LYRICS
Participants were given with Tamil songs in which the lyrics were translated to English and asked to find out the right songs. A total of five set of questions were organized. The participants were eagerly participated in this game.
JUST A MINUTE TALK
The participants were given a particular topic in spot and asked to talk about it for one minute or more.
PRIZES
Totally 3 prizes were allotted for Technical event:
Ø Paper presentation
The 3rd prize was given to Subhashini.M and Leelavathy.N and the 2nd prize was given to Gowri Raja Loganathan and the 1st prize was given to Varsha.D & Varshini.S.V. Finally the event was end at 4.15 pm with the vote of thanks and with lots of knowledge and experiences. The participants were also felt fulfilled with the event.
