Blood Donation & Free Eye Checkup Camp
The Blood Donation & Free Eye Checkup Camp was organized on 23rd November 2024 at Rajkiya Engineering College Mainpuri by the IEEE Student Branch RECM [STB-10148] in collaboration with the RECM Innovation Centre Foundation, IEI Chapter, BIS Club, and the District Administration and Blood Bank Mainpuri. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, with over 30 individuals donating blood and more than 100 benefitting from free eye checkups. The blood donation drive emphasized the importance of saving lives, promoting health, and fostering community bonding. The eye checkup camp raised awareness about maintaining eye health and early detection of issues. The event was coordinated by Prof. Saket Rusia, with dedicated support from student coordinators and volunteers who ensured smooth execution and active participation. Events like these underscore the significance of social responsibility and community welfare, demonstrating the power of unity in creating a positive impact.
