Tee Off for Science
A fundraiser supporting the IEEE-Chicago Section’s Science Kits for Public Libraries project will be held on the morning of Saturday October 7th at the TopGolf Entertainment Center in Wood Dale Illinois. As a supplier of goods and/or services to technical professionals your organization is invited to take part in this event through various support opportunities.
By providing support, your organization can raise your company's profile among Electrical and Electronics Engineering professionals in the Chicago area who are your current or potential customers by making customers aware of your organization's dedication to the future of the engineering profession and devotion to the Chicago area’s community needs. A program of the IEEE-Chicago Section, “Science Kits for Public Libraries” seeks to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning available for children regardless of race, gender, or income. Understanding that not all children have access to high quality science educations due to underfunding, resource allocations, poverty, or any other social or economic condition, the Science Kits for Public Libraries program raises capital to provide grants to public libraries to purchase science kit collections and offer them as a lending service to their communities just like a book. 100% of all proceeds goes to the “Science Kits for Public Libraries” project.
