A 5-day Short-term course on “Trends in Shaping Energy Transition”
The Department of EEE, in association with IEEE and IEI student branch , conducted a five day short term course in “Trends in Shaping Energy Transition 25th to 29th November 2024. Dr. Rajvirkaur, Assistant Professor, and Dr.A.Hemachander, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE were the convenor for the STC. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Nikhil Agarwal, Associate Partner and Director, cKinetics in the presence of Dr. S.Sundaravarathan, Registrar, NIT Puducherry. Around 64 participants from various institutions and Industries in India such as Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Andra Pradesh and Maharashtra were registered and participated in the event (Both online and in person). Reputed Resource persons such as Dr. Ajay Shankar, Senior Energy Analyst, Energy Exemplar, Dr. Saurabh Kumar, Assistant Manager, EY Global Delivery Services, Dr. Phani Teja Bankupalli, Assistant Professor, Renewable Energy Research Laboratory, SRMIST, Dr. V S K V Harish, Dept. of Electrical Engg., NSUT, Delhi, Yugal Kishor, Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Pvt Ltd, Dr.M M Rajan Singaravel, Assistant Professor, Dr. Ramjethmalani C H, Assistant Professor, Dr. Navin Sam K, Assistant Professor, Dr. Bijukumar B, Assistant Professor, Dr. Gowrishankar S, Assistant Professor, Dr. Revathi S, Assistant Professor, Dr. A Venkadesan, Associate Professor, from Dept. of EEE, NIT Puducherry were invited to deliver Keynote speeches.
