Biography:
Dr. Robert Baertsch is responsible for skyTran’s linear synchronous motor control software.Dr. Baertsch has a BA in Electrical Engineering from SUNY, Stony Brook and a PhD in Computational Biology from the Center for Bio-Molecular Science and Engineering at UC, Santa Cruz. At Brookhaven National Labs, Robert worked for the Instrumentation Division where he built detectors for high-energy physics experiments. Robert also was employed at the United Nations where he led a worldwide team of software developers.
