IEEE Day is an annual celebration that brings together engineers, researchers, and technology enthusiasts worldwide to commemorate the role of IEEE in advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. It marks the anniversary of the first gathering of IEEE members in 1884 and serves as a platform to showcase innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.  

The day is celebrated through various activities, including technical workshops, seminars, networking events, hackathons, and community outreach programs. IEEE members and student branches organize these events globally, fostering discussions on emerging technologies, research advancements, and industry trends. It also provides an opportunity to recognize volunteers and members for their contributions to the IEEE community.  

IEEE Day embodies the spirit of technological progress and global unity, encouraging professionals and students alike to engage in meaningful discussions, develop new skills, and collaborate on solutions that address real-world challenges.

One of the highlights of this year’s IEEE Day was the RAS session, which was truly spectacular. We had the privilege of hosting a great speaker who delivered an insightful talk on swarm robotics, exploring its applications, challenges, and future potential.
