General Assembly
General Assembly
The Opening Ceremony was officially launched by the vice chair of SB Mohamed Gharbi and thus declared the event dynamic and engaging in nature. An icebreaker game was organized to usher openness and interaction among members, giving everyone a chance to introduce themselves in a fun and interactive way. Incentives, however small, were awarded to the participating members
.
After that, we continued by presenting the IEEE Student Branch (SB) team. The SB Chair Rabie Becha then took the stage to present their detailed overview of the strategic plan for the year, which underscored key objectives, various projects to be undertaken in the near future, and opportunities for member involvement.
Following this was the RAS (Robotics and Automation Society) team presentation during which the Chair Yahia Sallemi discussed the vision, activities, and events planned for the year.
The same structure then followed for the CS (Computer Society) team in which the Chair Mohamed Zouari presented their roadmap, technical workshops, and initiatives.
Finally, the WIE (Women in Engineering) team to presente ourselves and the chair Zeinab Bouaziz came in to introduce themselves, along with their goal of promoting diversity and inclusion in the field of engineering and their planned activities.
To spice things up, we organized for a Kahoot quiz to be done interactive and with questions about IEEE, technology, and general curiosity. Prize giveaways ensued to immortalize this thrilling, competitive interactive session.
We invited several Chairs from different universities, bringing together a diverse group of leaders to enrich the event. Their presence fostered collaboration, encouraged knowledge sharing, and strengthened the connections between IEEE Student Branches.
The seventh anniversary of our Student Branch was celebrated as the highlight of the event. In honor of this, a cake was cut, uniting us in an appreciation for our journey and accomplishments during the years.
Three cheers to the last part of the celebration! All the members came together for a vital series of events and games outside, specifically designed to promote teamwork, communication, and fun! It was a beautiful experience for all the participants, creating a strong sense of belonging to the IEEE community and sure footing to the year ahead .
