As part of the academic curriculum, an industrial visit was organized for the III-year, II-semester Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) students to the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) office. This visit aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of telecommunication infrastructure, networking, and real-time operations at BSNL

The primary objectives of the industrial visit to the BSNL office were:
- To understand the functioning of telecommunication networks.
- To gain insight into mobile communication and broadband services.
- To learn about optical fiber communication and telephone exchanges.
- To observe the working of different network components like routers, switches, and base stations.
- To interact with industry professionals and understand real-world challenges in the field of telecommunications.
3. Overview of BSNL
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is one of the largest telecommunication service providers in India. Established in 2000, BSNL has been a key player in providing broadband, mobile, and landline services across the country. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the telecommunication infrastructure, including fibre optic networks, satellite communications, and mobile networks.
