SURVIVING AND THRIVING IN THE TECH INDUSTRY: A Monthly Book Club for Women in Engineering in the Central Texas Section at Cirrus Logic.

Imagine organizing a project for the benefit of humanity.  Take a look at the projects funded by the Humanitarian Activities Committee and EPICS Projects.  We can think about doing something locally that would benefit humanity.  A project to mitigate the risks of flooding comes to mind, since we have had increased flooding in recent years, devastating local communities. And we could build the next MOVE Truck to further serve people in disaster areas.  Or create a Drone Assistance Project. I’m sure there are others. Think big! And we'll apply for grants to make your dream possible!

Here's a video to get you thinking!
We can involve students if you like.  See "The Benefits of Volunteerism"

Join us for snacks, a glass of wine, good company and a fantastic book club, focused on SURVIVING AND THRIVING IN THE TECH INDUSTRY.

Free parking is available at on West St. after 6PM.  (Meeting is at the NW Corner of 7th and West) .  No charge for the event. Bring a friend!  And make new ones!
