CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - 2025 IEEE NEBRASKA SECTION AWARDS

IEEE Nebraska Section is seeking our best.  The awards listed below will be presented at this year's IEEE Nebraska Section Banquet on October 21st.  Nominations can be made from now until 11:59PM on October 10, 2025.  Please submit nominations by October 10th, 2025.

1. Awards
   1. Nebraska Section Outstanding Member Achievement Award
      1. The recipient of this award is an IEEE Nebraska Section member in good standing who has made outstanding achievement(s) that may include the development of new technical concepts, significant patents, development of new devices, development of applications, new designs, considerable cost reductions using known techniques, etc.
   2. Nebraska Section Outstanding Service Award
      1. The recipient of this award is an IEEE Nebraska Section member in good standing who has made collective contributions complemented by singular works exemplifying IEEE objectives and attributes.
   3. Nebraska Section Outstanding Industry Support Award
      1. The recipient of this award is an employer within the IEEE Nebraska Section district who has provided significant support to either its employees in regard to their IEEE service or direct support to the Section.
   4. Nebraska Section Young Professional Achievement Award
      1. The recipient of this award is an IEEE Nebraska Section member in good standing who also serves the Section's Young Professionals Affinity Group and has made significant contributions to the development of said Affinity Group. 
2. Nominations must Include
   1. Name of Nominee
   2. Nominee email
   3. Name of Nominator 
   4. Nominator email
   5. Award Nominee is being submitted for
   6. List of activities that qualify this nominee suitable for the award being nominated for. 
   7. Letter of support from an active member of IEEE Nebraska Section in good standing.
   8. Nominator name and point of contact information
   9. Further justification for award information. 
3. Submit your nomination(s) by email to Nick McIntosh at nick.mcintosh@ieee.org. 
   1. Use "IEEE Nebraska Section Awards for 2025" in the subject line of your email.

Nomination for IEEE Nebraska Section Awards

• Nominations for IEEE Nebraska Section can be made by any section member, including an XCOM member.
• The nominator needs to list the activities of the nominee for the qualification, including at least one letter of support from another member for the nomination.  The nomination documents need to be submitted with subject line "IEEE Nebraska Section Awards for 2025", email the nominations to those listed in this announcement.
• Submit your nomination(s) by email to Nick McIntosh at nick.mcintosh@ieee.org. 

Be sure to include your point of contact information for follow up.
