Hands-On Arduino Activity/Workshop
This is a Professional Development Workshop for anyone interested in learning about the popular Arduino microcontroller. An Arduino microcontroller, Uno, and some additional parts are included in the cost.
A three-hour hands-on workshop gets you started using an Arduino Uno microcontroller board. Learn how to write Arduino software and to interface and control simple devices including RGB LED through analog and digital I/O.
IEEE members and students provide expert coaching.
Bring your own laptop and we’ll help you get all set up so you can continue to work at home after the workshop is over. Alternatively, a few laptops for participants without a computer will be available to borrow (first come first served).
Take a genuine Arduino Uno R3 home with you along with all the parts used in this workshop.
IEEE membership discount available.
Students under age 18 are welcome, but must have a note from a parent or guardian when arriving. Member student discount will cover a large portion of becoming a member, so consider becoming a student member of the IEEE and enjoy this discount.
Students under the age of 17 (K-12) are also offered a discount and can register at the student IEEE rate.
The registration rate will increase $20.00 on 25 Sep 2017 07:00 PM for all registration types.
PDHs will be available for this activity. Be sure to sign in.
