On January 30th 2025, the IEEE GRIET PES Student Branch organized an enlightening industrial visit to the Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd for third-year engineering students. This visit aimed to provide an opportunity to explore industrial automation, power management, and electrical systems in a large-scale production environment. The tour begins with an overview of the manufacturing process, highlighting the role of automation in bottle filling, capping, and packaging. Students will observe the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems that ensure seamless operation, along with various sensors and actuators that maintain precision. while learning about their roles in power Electronics, Control systems Micro controllers and processor. Greeted by the facility's engineers, students engaged in discussions about the challenges in the power sector.
