CODATHON (Coding Competition)
The EEE Department of RGMCET, in collaboration with the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), Industry Applications Society (IAS), and Reliability Society, organized a CODATHON coding competition on February 13th, 2025. This event provided a valuable platform for undergraduate students from various colleges to showcase their coding skills and technical knowledge.
The competition commenced at 12:00 PM and attracted 119 participants. Under the guidance of RGMCET faculty members, the students engaged in a competitive and intellectually stimulating environment, highlighting their proficiency in coding.
The success of the event was further emphasized by the announcement of the top two winners by Dr. V. Naga Bhaskar Reddy, IEEE PELS Advisor, and Mr. Y. Vijaya Suresh, IEEE IAS Advisor. Dr. V. Narasimhulu, RGMCET-SB Branch Councilor, and Dr. D. Lenine also participated in recognizing the efforts of the winners, and presenting them with appreciation certificates. Additionally, all participants were awarded certificates of participation, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the event.
The collaborative effort in the coding competition allowed students to showcase their coding skills while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among participants and institutions. The event was well-organized, and the engaging discussions left a lasting impact on all attendees, further contributing to the overall success of the competition.
