This is your opportunity to help shape the future of the IEEE Strathclyde Student Branch by joining the committee for 2025/26. Over the past year the branch has gone from strength to strength, organising several events, including a creative poster competition, public outreach talks about the energy system & solar from space, as well as organising social events and supporting other societies. The IEEE organisation offers a wealth of funding and scholarships to make the society your own, with the previous committee securing over £1,000 worth of funding and materials to support their activities, with some coming directly from the IEEE global president due to the great relationship IEEE Strath has built with the wider organisation.

There is a massive scope to organise exciting and interesting events, and to extend the benefits of IEEE membership to students at Strathclyde – including around $155,000 of scholarships and awards that are advertised annually by the different IEEE societies! The benefits for you are just as good – socialising, gain leadership experience, and if you’re a PhD student earn a tonne of PGR credits!
