Every year, the student branch of Universidad del Cauca celebrates Women's Day to pay tribute to women. Commemorating them for their struggle, their rights, their respect, and for them as engineers.

Speakers
Alexandra Parra Marin
Biography:
She is a philosophy student at the University of Cauca and a member of the Federation of University Students of Cauca. She is also the Political Officer of the María Cano Gender Collective, where she works on gender equality initiatives and student representation.
Agenda
The event will be divided into 3 parts:
At 4:00 p.m., there will be a talk entitled "A path traced by great women", presented by Alexandra Parra Marín, student of Philosophy, member of the Federation of University Students of Cauca and political officer of the María Cano Gender Collective.
At 4:30 p.m., there will be a singing presentation by Luisa Fernández and Sebastián Caicedo.
Finally, at 5:00 p.m., there will be the WIEtón: Games Marathon, a space for recreation and fun.
