This International Women’s Day, Galgotias University hosted an inspiring session with Ms. Mamta A Rajnayak, VP & Head of AI-ML Products at American Express, as part of the Women In Engineering IEEE GU Student Branch event. Her talk, "Women in Workforce," highlighted the challenges women face, the

opportunities they create, and the importance of mentorship, continuous learning, and breaking societal barriers.

International Women’s Day Event at Galgotias University

The International Women's Day event at Galgotias University, organized by the IEEE GU Student Branch, began with the lighting of the lamp and the presentation of a bouquet to the distinguished guest, Ms. Mamta A Rajnayak, VP & Head of AI-ML Products at American Express. This opening ceremony set the tone for an inspiring and empowering event.

Ms. Rajnayak shared her remarkable journey with an audience of over 100 students during her session titled "Women in Workforce." She spoke about the challenges women face in the workplace, the opportunities they create, and the critical importance of mentorship, continuous learning, and breaking societal barriers. Her words resonated deeply with the attendees, emphasizing the role of inclusivity and diversity in shaping a brighter future.

As a gesture of appreciation, Ms. Rajnayak was presented with a memento by Mr. Avadhesh Kumar, PVC of Galgotias University and Vice Chair of IEEE UP Section. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the achievements of women in all fields.
