Raspberry Pi Workshop for Pi Day
Students will be given a kit of supplies that includes: Raspberry Pi Pico board, 5-Pin wires, a micro USB cable, and an LED matrix. Host will walk through step-by-step to program a scrolling light message on the LED matrix using the Raspberry Pi and a laptop.

Agenda
1:00pm-1:30pm: Students sign-in and receive their reserved kits. Any unreserved kits will be handed to students present, first come, first serve.
1:30pm-2:00pm: Connect Raspberry Pi to laptop and connect hardware (LED matrix, 5-Pin wires, Raspberry Pi board) together. Install Thonny.
2:00pm-3:00pm: Write program on Thonny using Python to power LED matrix and show scrolling light message.
