Biography:

Brief Profile of Dr. Mangala Gowri S G

I am Dr. Mangala Gowri S G, presently working in Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir.MVIT) as Associate Professor in Electronics and Communication Department. I have completed my Ph.D. Doctoral degree from VTU in 2020, with a specialization of Bio-medical Signal Processing. My doctoral research work is based on “EEG Based Emotion Detection Using Wavelets”. M.Tech with a specialization of VLSI Design and Embedded Systems completed in the year 2010. I have a total of 22 International Journal Publications, 9 International Conference papers, with a total of 15 years of teaching experience, 6 years of Research experience. I am also the Editorial member and Reviewer for reputed International Journals and conferences. I have organized many seminars, FDP’s, and SDP’s. I have also been invited for guest lectures, technical talks and as a resource person in many reputed institutions. My research interests are in the field of digital signal processing, image processing, Robotics and Automation, neural networks. In the early days of my career, I have worked in Indian Institute of Science as Research Associate under the guidance of                     Dr. S. Asokan, Professor, and Chairman of Instrumentation Department. I am very much interested in performing research in the area of image processing and signal processing. I am also the Professional Member of IEEE and IFERP associations. I was been nominated as the Branch Counselor of 2023 and 2024 of IEEE STB, also nominated as the IEEE RAS chapter Secretary 2024 of Bangalore Section. I am also the Execom Member of ITS Execom Member Bangalore Section 2024, I am also the Secretary Execom Member of CEDA Council Chapter Bangalore Section of 2024.
