Industry Interview Opportunity for Students
If you have been thinking of applying for a graduate engineering program in the next year or so, this is the event you don't want to miss!!!
IEEE Queensland invites students to a unique opportunity for a face-to-face interview with industry delegates from Energex/Ergon Energy (as part of Energy Queensland), Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), Powerlink Queensland and Jacobs. These industries represent different aspects of electrical engineering from gas and electricity markets and power systems to technical, professional, scientific and engineering services. Students will have the chance to sit for 10 to 15 min one-to-one interview (mocking-interview) with industry representatives and hand in their CVs to them. IEEE Queensland provides this opportunity to engage graduate students in IEEE activities after they leave university. The interview sessions would be at UQ (49-502) on Monday 16th October from 3 pm to 5 pm. This event is FREE for IEEE members and $10 for non-members. If students join IEEE at the event, it would be free for them. The number of seats is limited.
