About the Speaker, Dave Cunningham
Dave Cunningham has 42 years of experience in the field of IT Systems Management. Dave started his career as an Aerospace Engineer with Rockwell International, working on the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls systems for the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. In 1992 he founded Dempsey Bluevar, an IBM Premier Business Partner and Managed Service Provider specializing in Systems Management. After selling the firm in 2012, he joined Alvaka as its Business Technology Officer where he serves today. Alvaka is an IT Service Provider that serves mid-market and enterprise clients. In 2019, Alvaka developed a Ransomware Recovery practice to assist organizations who have suffered Ransomware attacks. Because of its engineering strength, 24x7 staffing model, and successful Case outcomes, Alvaka has developed a national reputation with Breach Counsel attorneys, Data Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) firms, and Insurance Carriers as a go-to specialist firm for complex Ransomware recoveries on a national and global scale. Dave has served as lead Case Manager for Alvaka's Ransomware Recovery Cases and has developed an intimate working knowledge of the processes and methods for Ransomware recovery.
