We are thrilled to invite you to an exciting seminar hosted by the Software Engineering Club at RHU, in collaboration with Women in Engineering Lebanon. The seminar is titled “Real-Time Cyber Defense: Monitoring, Threat Hunting & Incident Response."

Date: Tuesday, March 18

Location: MEA Conference Hall  Time: 11:00 AM

This workshop will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to leverage SIEM solutions for real-time monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. You will learn about the critical tasks performed during an attack, including forensic analysis, threat hunting, log correlation, and the in-depth investigation of security incidents. Participants will gain insights into analyzing malicious activity, utilizing threat intelligence, detecting Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), and applying effective incident response methodologies.

We are excited to have Natalia Shamma as our speaker. Natalia is a Computer Science alumna and a senior in Computer and Communication Engineering. She is currently a Cybersecurity Engineer, Junior SOC Analyst and will share her expertise and insights with you.
