Eco Empower Summit - IEEE PES Kenya - AISEC KU - KPLC
Eco Empower Summit, set to take place on 21 March 2025 at Kenyatta University. This transformative event, organized in collaboration with IEEE PES Kenya, Kenya Power & Lighting Company and AIESEC in Kenyatta University, is designed to empower youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive sustainable change.
IEEE PES Kenya, AISEC KU and KPLC as key player in the power and energy sector, have similar mission and our event’s focus on fostering sustainable solutions. In this regard, PES Kenya will be participating in this elemets:

Mentorship and Facilitation – Our experts to facilitate breakout sessions tailored to their area of expertise and aligned with relevant SDGs, providing valuable insights to the youth in attendance.

Judging Panel – Our representatives will serve as judges for the innovative projects developed during the breakout sessions, ensuring impactful and feasible solutions emerge.
- Special SDG focused Panel/Workshop Session: Innovative Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation: Powering Africa’s Sustainable
Economic Growth Through Clean Energy and Technology.
This summit aims to bring together 100 to 200 youth eager to engage with industry leaders, gain hands-on experience, and develop projects that address pressing environmental and energy challenges. Our participation will not only inspire but also help shape the next generation of sustainable development leaders.
Furthermore, this summit will act as a prerequisite to more specialized hackathons and workshops scheduled throughout the coming year. These future engagements will build on the foundation set at this event, offering deeper dives into critical sustainability issues and refining the innovative solutions proposed by participants.
Additionally, as we strive to create a high-impact event(s), we welcome strategic collaborations, including financial contributions, that would further enhance the experience and reach of this initiative. We would be happy to explore customized partnership opportunities from more industry and academia institutions that align with your CSR and sustainability goals.
