IEEE Toronto and Siemens Canada IEEE Committee are proud to present a manufacturing facility tour of Siemens RuggedCom in Vaughan.

RuggedCom designs and manufactures rugged communications networks for mission critical applications in harsh environments. RuggedCom is a “Center of Excellence” for Industrial Switches and Routers for harsh environments and critical infrastructure (based on IEC61850). Our products perform reliably in virtually all types of mission-critical networks – in substation automation, self-healing power grids and “smart grid” systems, in intelligent transportation systems for traffic management and railway control systems, as well as in process control and manufacturing automation systems used across multiple industrial sectors.
