About the Event

Ideation 6.0 is a premier event hosted by E- CELL of NMIT during Geekmayem an Techno fest knowledge partnered by IEEE Bangalore Section 
Ideathon 6.0 aims to bring together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and problem-solvers to brainstorm and develop creative solutions to real-world challenges. The event will provide participants with mentorship from industry experts, networking opportunities, and a platform to pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. With a strong focus on innovation and impact, Ideathon 6.0 will not only enhance participants' entrepreneurial skills but also contribute to the culture of startup development within our institution.

Competition Segments

The competition comprises two key segments:

1. Ideation – Participants will pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of judges.

2. Prototype – Teams will present functional prototypes that support their business pitches.

🏆 1st Place: ₹15,000
🥈 2nd Place: ₹10,000
🥉 3rd Place: ₹5,000

Prototype

🏆 1st Place: ₹30,000
🥈 2nd Place: ₹20,000

Event Rules

For Ideation:

Round 1:

• Teams are required to submit their idea online through Unstop in a document format.

Round 2:

• This is an offline round held at NMIT campus.

• Teams will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session with the panel of judges.

• The top three teams will be declared winners based on the judges' evaluation.

For Prototype:

Round 1:

• Teams are required to submit their ideas online through Unstop in a document format.

• Participants must shoot a video of their prototype, upload it to Drive, and provide the link.

Round 2:

• This is an offline round held at NMIT campus.

• Teams will have 6 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by a 4-minute discussion with the panel of judges.

• The top three teams will be declared winners based on the judges' evaluation.
