Topic:

The EUMETSAT Library: Supporting Research & Public Knowledge

The EUMETSAT Library plays a crucial role in supporting research dissemination by providing internal and some external access to research, AI-driven information tools, and meteorological resources. This presentation highlights how the library tracks and publishes citations from scientific research utilizing EUMETSAT-generated climate data, supports AI initiatives such as ESA’s EVE project and distributes valuable meteorological information through climate citations, newsletters, journal searches, and online guides. By fostering internal knowledge sharing and highlighting access to scientific results, the library enhances collaboration, advances climate research, and empowers both EUMETSAT staff and the broader scientific community.
