Short Course on Cognition And Biometrics
IEEE Signal processing Chapter of Uttar Pradesh Section in collaboration with Computer Vision and Biometrics Lab of Center for Cognitive Computing (C3), Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, is planning to conduct a Two Days Short Term Course on Cognition and Biometrics during 29-30 Oct 2017. This course is a lecture cum hands-on course covering the topics on Biometrics, Uni-modal and Multi-modal Techniques, Machine Learning in Biometrics & Cognitive Biometrics. Various hands-on laboratory sessions on Python Programming, Tensorflow, Deep Learning, Facial Biometrics and Vision and Language have been planned. The course will be very useful for the interested undergraduate and postgraduate students doing or planning research in these areas. The course is open for all internal and external participants from academia and industry. As such there are no strict prior requisites for the program but a basic understanding of Python is expected and a mathematical background never hurts.
