Our Loctite OEM Seminar is basically our full one day Loctite OEM Customer Training School Workshop condensed down to a 60 to 90+ minutes session. It is essentially an “Adhesives 101” type presentation that includes several hands on demos, pros and cons of all the different Loctite OEM adhesive chemistries offered through our General Industries Division, new products updates, dispense & curing equipment options, and lastly resources available to your company and how to go about selecting and testing appropriate adhesives for your specific applications. It is very appropriate for both new and seasoned design, manufacturing & process engineers or anyone else interested in adhesives.
Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in the current use or future use of adhesives for their adhesive assembly applications.

Biography:
Dr. Kourosh Taheri is a Technical Sales Manager leading the Energy sector business at COMSOL’s U.S. office in Burlington, MA. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and has an extensive background in advanced computational modeling and finite element analysis, specializing in structural, thermal, and crash analysis. Before joining COMSOL, Dr. Taheri worked as a technical sales consultant and CAE engineer in the high-tech and automotive industries, including a role at Tesla. He also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Northeastern University, where he was actively involved in teaching and research, and published several papers throughout his academic career.

Dr. Andrew Strikwerda is the Application Manager for the electromagnetics team at COMSOL's Burlington, MA office. He has contributed to over 50 publications and conference proceedings that have been collectively cited over 7000 times. He received his PhD in physics from Boston University and conducted postgraduate research at the Technical University of Denmark. He spent five years as a senior staff scientist at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Applied Physics Laboratory and taught a class on Metamaterials in the JHU Whiting School of Engineering.
