The event titled “When Phones Fail – Discover the Power of Amateur Radio” was conducted on April 13, 2025, to raise awareness about the significance of amateur (ham) radio in emergency communication scenarios. The session highlighted how amateur radio can serve as a reliable communication tool during times of network failure, natural disasters, or emergencies.

An expert speaker introduced the concept of ham radio, its history, licensing procedures, and its application in disaster relief. A live demo session helped attendees understand the technical setup and operation of amateur radio equipment. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
