The The IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) of IEEE SJCE SBC successfully hosted an insightful webinar on "Engineering Ethics & Legal Responsiblity"on 03.04.2025, from 6.00 PM to 7.00 PM, at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering. The session was led by Advocate Mr. Patel Maihebub. The session provided valuable insights into the ethical obligations and legal responsibilities that govern the engineering profession
The discussion covered key legal frameworks, including compliance with regulatory standards, environmental laws, and safety protocols, while also highlighting real-world case studies that illustrated both ethical successes and failures. Participants engaged actively, posing thoughtful questions and exploring scenarios that emphasized the role of ethics in decision-making and project execution.
