[IEEE PES Day 2025] Visit to the Nautical Museum of Bahia

In celebration of PES Day 2025, the IEEE PES Chapters of the Northeast Brazil Section and the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) are honored to host a special event, in harmony with this year’s inspiring theme: “Clean Energy, Smarter Grids and Better Lives.”
As part of the program, the groups will take part in a visit to the Bahia Nautical Museum, one of the most iconic historical landmarks in the city, located at the Farol da Barra. This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a cultural experience while bringing members together to celebrate the progress of clean energy in a setting full of history and natural beauty.

Em comemoração ao PES Day 2025, os capítulos IEEE PES da Seção Nordeste e IEEE PES da Universidade Federal da Bahia têm a honra de promover um evento especial, em sintonia com o tema inspirador deste ano: “Clean Energy, Smarter Grids and Better Lives”.
Como parte da programação, os grupos participarão de uma visita ao Museu Náutico da Bahia, um dos pontos históricos mais emblemáticos da cidade, localizado no Farol da Barra. Será uma oportunidade única para utilizar um momento cultural para integrar membros, celebrando os avanços da energia limpa em um ambiente repleto de história e beleza natural.

On the third day of PES Day, we had another activity that was a success. IEEE PES UFBA and the PES Professional Chapter of the Northeast Section of Brazil made a special visit to the Nautical Museum of Salvador, at Farol da Barra!
It was an incredible moment of integration, learning and connection with the history and beauty of our city, combining technology, culture and energy to transform the future.
