Immersive technical visit designed to showcase the real-world application of clean energy in urban transportation

Eng. Kevin Santamaría, from Universidad de los Andes, will accompany the Electric Bus Power Tour as an academic guide. He will lead the group during the visit to the Perdomo depot and serve as liaison with the technical staff who operate the site. The explanations and demonstrations will be conducted by the depot's own professionals, offering attendees a unique opportunity to interact directly with those managing the daily operation of Bogotá’s electric bus system.

The Electric Bus Power Tour is an immersive technical visit designed to showcase the real-world application of clean energy in urban transportation. Participants will explore Bogotá’s Perdomo Depot, where a fleet of electric buses is operated and maintained using cutting-edge charging infrastructure and energy management systems.

The tour highlights the full energy cycle—from grid connection and charging stations to vehicle operation—offering a dynamic understanding of how electrical energy powers public mobility. Attendees will witness firsthand how sustainable technology drives a city's transit system, and they’ll gain insights into energy efficiency, fleet logistics, and smart mobility.

Through guided tours, interactive Q&A sessions, and technical presentations, the experience promotes awareness of renewable energy, environmental responsibility, and innovation in the transportation sector. The event fosters curiosity and learning among students, professionals, and energy enthusiasts alike.
