Introduction to Machine Functional Safety
Functional Safety is a method to allow entry and access to industrial equipment not using OHSA Logout procedures. It is generally seen in "Safety Gates", "Safety Mats" or other items that render machinery non-operational for minor maintenance.
This talk will reference standards ISO 13849 and IEC 62061
