Guest Lecture on Navigating Opportunities within IEEE and Getting ready for IEEE REM Scholarship


The IEEE RAS Student Branch Chapter of SEC successfully organized an enriching online guest lecture titled "Navigating Opportunities with IEEE & Getting Ready for IEEE REM Scholarship", delivered by Mr. Aryan, an active IEEE volunteer and REM Scholar.

Held on 10.04.2025, the session aimed to enlighten IEEE student members about the various benefits and global opportunities offered through IEEE, along with a focused segment on preparing for the IEEE Richard E. Merwin (REM) Scholarship. Aryan shared his personal journey, application strategies, and valuable tips on leadership, networking, and volunteering within the IEEE community.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, followed by an engaging Q&A session where attendees clarified their doubts about eligibility, selection criteria, and the importance of impactful volunteering.

The event proved to be highly motivational and informative, empowering students to explore IEEE’s vast resources and take confident steps toward applying for international recognitions like the REM Scholarship.
