BMSCE IEEE PES AND SC- The Sun Chase
Event Description :
On account of PES DAY 2025, BMSCE IEEE PES & Sensors Council in collaboration with IEEE
SPS successfully organized The Sun Chase , an exciting online treasure hunt themed around solar
energy. This intellectually stimulating event put participants’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills to
the test as they raced against time to crack clues, solve challenges, and uncover hidden treasures — all while
exploring the fascinating world of solar power. Through a series of engaging tasks rooted in renewable energy
and sustainability, The Sun Chase aimed to raise awareness about solar energy in a fun, interactive, and
competitive format.
Impact :
The Sun Chase had a strong impact by promoting awareness of solar energy through a fun, clue-based
treasure hunt. Participants sharpened their problem-solving skills while learning about renewable energy. The
online format enabled wide participation and high engagement. The event encouraged sustainable thinking in
a creative and interactive way. Positive feedback highlighted its educational value and lasting impression.
