BMSCE IEEE PES and Sensors Council- Grid Quest
On account of PES Day 2025, the BMSCE IEEE PES and Sensors Council, in collaboration
with the ISE Student Club, organized Grid Quest—a strategic, simulation-based board game event.
Designed to mirror the challenges of real-world energy management, the game tasked participants with
acquiring and operating power plants, navigating energy markets, and responding to dynamic policy
changes. The event provided an engaging platform for students to explore the balance between
profitability and sustainability in the power sector.
Impact made: Grid Quest offered participants a practical understanding of the energy landscape,
emphasizing the importance of renewable sources and sustainable practices. Through interactive
gameplay, students developed critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills, all within the
context of power and energy systems. The event effectively aligned with the PES Day objective of
promoting awareness and innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
